1. Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and Christos Alexis Fantino, Switzerland, the operator of Felvar ("we", "us"). By using Felvar you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What Felvar is
Felvar is a food decision app for iPhone. It lets you:
- scan your fridge and get meal suggestions from what it finds
- chat with Felvar for recipe ideas
- import recipes from links, TikTok videos or text, or write your own
- keep your recipes in one library, sorted in folders
- fill a grocery list from a recipe
Some features need an account or Felvar Membership.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian agrees to your use and to any purchase.
4. Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google and choose a username. Do not choose a username that is offensive, misleading or belongs to someone else. Your account also works in our companion apps Caltria and Pantral. You can delete it at any time in the app (Profile, Account, Delete Account).
5. Licence
We grant you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable licence to use Felvar for your own, non commercial purposes.
6. Automatically generated content
Fridge results, meal suggestions, chat answers and imported recipes are produced by AI models (Google Gemini). They can be incomplete or wrong, and an ingredient Felvar recognises in a photo may not be what is actually there. Check ingredients, amounts, allergens and cooking safety yourself before relying on them. We do not guarantee the availability or quality of any model.
7. Imported recipes
When you import a recipe, you are responsible for having the right to keep it for your personal use. Felvar stores imports for you; it does not publish them.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile or copy the app
- use bots or scripts, or try to bypass usage limits
- try to access our servers without permission
- misuse the chat, for example to extract its instructions or create unlawful or harmful content
- upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content, or malicious code
- use Felvar for any unlawful purpose
9. Felvar Membership
9.1 Plans
Felvar Membership is an auto renewing subscription, offered weekly, monthly and yearly. The yearly plan may include a free trial of 7 days for people eligible for it. Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store and can differ by region.
9.2 Payment and renewal
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. A free trial converts into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
9.3 Cancelling and refunds
Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
9.4 Price changes
We may change prices; Apple notifies existing subscribers as its rules require.
10. Third party services
Felvar relies on Supabase, Google, Apple, RevenueCat, PostHog and Meta, as described in the Privacy Policy. Their own terms apply to their services.
11. Food and health disclaimer
Felvar does not provide medical, nutritional or dietary advice. It can take your diet, allergies and dislikes into account, but we do not guarantee allergen free results, complete ingredient lists or suitability for any medical condition. Consult a qualified professional where needed.
12. Intellectual property
The app, its design, branding, text and software are protected. You may not reproduce or distribute them without our written permission.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent the law allows, Felvar is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or harm from relying on generated content, including allergic reactions. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for intent, gross negligence or mandatory consumer rights.
15. Termination
You can stop using Felvar at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms.
16. Changes
We may update the app and these Terms. The date at the top shows the current version; continuing to use Felvar means you accept it.
17. Feedback
If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve Felvar without any obligation to you.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence is unaffected.
